Will Obeid is a New York-based real estate investor and developer with years of experience building hospitality brands. A multi-talented executive, he is skilled in acquisition selection, site assemblage, capital formation, brand development, and management of on-site operations teams. Interested in pursuing opportunities in the fast-growing global wellness economy, Will Obeid founded Arcade Capital, LLC, in 2014.

As principal, he has launched several real estate projects that focus on sustainability and provide upscale wellness experiences to guests and tenants. Mr. Obeid maintains an interest in multi-family and for sale residential properties that follow the “Build Well, Live Well” philosophy. He has also invested in resort properties with unique natural features. In 2017, he purchased the Minnewaska Lodge in Gardiner, New York. Arcade Capital has transformed the property into an upscale destination for guests looking to reconnect with nature without having to travel far from the city.

In addition, Will Obeid spent two years as head of hospitality with Kushner Companies. Initially tasked with establishing a new hospitality division at the family office, he sourced transactions and created a talented management team to operate the group’s resort properties. Mr. Obeid played an instrumental role in developing several new Kushner properties, including the popular Wave Resort.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Obeid co-founded Gemini Real Estate Advisors, LLC. He spent 11 years as the firm’s president and CEO, in which role he guided strategy, oversaw acquisitions, and maintained relationships with lenders and equity investors. Mr. Obeid also established new hiring frameworks that ultimately helped Gemini’s staff grow to nearly 550 employees at the corporate and property levels.

Under Mr. Obeid’s leadership, Gemini saw its real estate portfolio reach a valuation of $1.5 billion, with hospitality and retail properties in more than a dozen states. This portfolio included two of his own innovative and award winning upscale and upper upscale hotel brand concepts: The Jade Hotel and the Gem Hotel. These hotel brands were praised for guest comfort that that featured great design, thoughful amenities, and design elements that reflected the local neighborhood dynamics in which they were built.
