A longtime resident of the greater San Diego area who resides in Solana Beach, California, Zachary Vachris excelled as a hockey player at Poway High School, earning honors as all-conference player of the year during his senior year. He went on to play varsity hockey at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff where he served three years as Lumberjack team captain. Zachary Vachris also excelled in the classroom, maintaining a consistent presence on the Dean’s List and graduating with his bachelor of arts in business in 2014.

While attending Northern Arizona University, Zachary Vachris worked as a busser with the Capri Blue restaurant and as a server and bartender with the Grand Del Mar resort in San Diego. He also completed a project engineer internship with BNBuilders in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Vachris currently serves as a hockey coach with Jr. Reign Youth Hockey, Ice Town Carlsbad, and the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League.
